Project Coordinator (Administrative Assistant)

Gold Star Property Restoration – Troy, Michigan

$15-$18 per hour

Gold Star Property Restoration Inc., a team of attentive and compassionate disaster restoration experts has an opening for a full time, entry level Administrative Assistant. Gold Star provides restoration and reconstruction services to the Greater Detroit area. The right candidate must be able to take specific direction, take initiative, be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure office environment.

Day to day responsibilities will include the following:

  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Communicating with home owners
  • Noting files in multiple restoration specific software/online programs
  • Entering data into estimating software
  • Filing correctly within the existing filing systems (electronically and paper)
  • Assisting other personnel with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive attitude
  • Previous administrative experience (one year minimum)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficiently work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Pass skills testing (spelling, alphabetizing, mathematical, typing, spreadsheets, etc)
  • Pass a background check
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge of industry software and online programs a plus
